A STANDARD DAY TREK PROCEDURES AND MEALS:

In the morning with a wake up call you're served a tea or coffee, while still in your sleeping bag. A few minutes later do your washing nearby campsite or we provide bowl of hot water outside your tent. . Once dressed you can pack your kit bag and ready with your day pack for the day’s hike. Our staff will serve you breakfast. consists of cereals /or porridge with milk, eggs, usually served with chapatis, (Nan) or pancakes with honey or jam. There is always plenty of tea and coffee. Refill your water bottle with boiled water. And collect your packed lunch, (Tibetan bread Sandwiched either with cheese or Jam/ fruit packed juice, boiled egg, boiled potato chocolate bar and some assorted sweet for instant energy . You will walk for three or four hours before stopping for lunch. The lunch stop will last for about an hour. (Insure all no-bridgeable items must put in an empty lunch box and handover to footprints staff at next camp, Use our Eco-bag to bring all Non-biodegardable back to our office in Leh for disposal)

 

 

EQUIPMENT PROVIDED:

We provide ‘A’ frame or dome tents, which have room for two people plus all of your equipment. There is also a dining tent*, a toilet tent, and a kitchen and staff tent. There are camp chairs or stools, solar or battery operated lamp in the dining tent at night, stainless steel crockery and tableware insulated sleeping mats. The staff including of cooks and assistants is always in attendance. They put up and take down the tents, make the tea, cook the food, wash the dishes. Horseman will load and un-load your baggage. Dining tents are heavy to carry and are only provided for a minimum of 4 people. For less then 04 people there will be dinning-cum-kitchen tent.

*Monument and Museum entrance Fees.
*Any Kind of Personal expenses or Optional Tours / Extra Meals Ordered.
*Tips, Insurance, Laundry, Phone Calls.
*Any thing not specifically mentioned under the head "Cost Includes".
*Any Kind of Drinks (Alcoholic, Mineral, Aerated).
*Cost incidental to any change in the itinerary / stay on account of flight cancellation due to bad weather, ill health, roadblocks and/or any factors beyond control.

 

 

YOUR FLEXIBILITY:

Whilst every effort is made to keep to the above itinerary intact, however being in a remote mountain region. there will quite likely be changes to the itinerary in terms of anything from on the spot choice of camp site to the day that a rest day is taken. weather conditions, road conditions, vehicle breakdowns off the beaten track, local availability of porters and horses, all these can contribute to the need for changes. Your trekking guide will do everything that you are inconvenienced as little as possible. In such events, your flexibility, co-operation, and patience is highly appreciated.

Payment policy: Once you go through the tour itinerary, finding it suitable for you and decided to book, you have to deposit 30% of the total cost as an advance through our online payment gateway or depositing a check/DD. Once the advance is reflecting in our account we will mail you all the confirmations (in 12hrs.). Rest of the balance on your arrival by cash/DD/or instant transfer to our net banking (we accept all major credit card Visa/ Master Card international debit cards and net banking)
